The ever-hairy Green Man lot already had Wilco, Jarvis Cocker and Animal Collective confirmed for this year’s festival, but it’s this latest round of additions to their line-up that’s got us most excited.

Brooklyn Godfathers Gang Gang Dance, Glasgow twee mob Camera Obscura, and Beyond the Wizard’s Sleeve (Erol Alkan and Richard Norris’ psyche project) are the three we’re most taken by, but watch out for Brighton folk demi-icon Mary Hampton and Scott Matthews, as well as In The Red-signed surf rockers The Strange Boys.

Also added to the bill are Jonny (featuring Norman Blake and Euros Childs), Stornoway, Erland and the Carnival (featuring Simon Tong), Diagonal, Richard James (not that Richard James), Birdengine, Player Piano, Love.Stop.Repeat, Mississippi Witch, Right Hand Left Hand, Meilir Tomos, 9 Bach, The Gentle Good, Sweet Baboo, Pagan Wanderer Lu, Cate le Bon, Le B and Ruby Samba.

And that’s on top of Andrew Bird, Animal Collective, Beach House, Peter Broadrick, Beth Jeans Houghton, Bon Iver, British Sea Power, Dirty Three, Four Tet, Grizzly Bear, Jarvis Cocker, Pivot, The Aliens, The Leisure Society, Wilco, Wooden Shjips and more. It all takes place from August 21 – 23, all details on the Green Man website
