Offset Festival takes place from September 5 – 6 this year, in the lush settings of Hainault Forest Country Park, Redbridge. Offset’s deal for a while now has been "joining the dots between new bands and their influences."

Well the old this year comes in the form of reformed post-punk legends The Slits and A Certain Ratio, not to mention a DJ set from Jesus and Mary Chain bassist Douglas Hart. And the new comes in the form of The Horrors, Rolo Tomassi, Ghost of a Thousand, Factory Floor, Kap Bambino, Throats, Future of the Left (well, sort of new), Good Shoes, Maths, Devil Sold His Soul and The Futureheads. Oh, and Architects, who apparently are a metalcore band from Brighton and not the hip-hop group Tame One was in. We thought they seemed a bit out of place.

Tickets are £45-55 right now for Early Bird prices, and there’s over 150 more bands to be announced. More information and full range of tickets plus option to buy here.
