San Francisco duo Girls have announced their first UK headline tour.

The pairing of Christopher Owens and Chet JR White – the former of whom is part of Holy Shit with Ariel Pink and Matt Fishbeck – will be bolstered to a live four-peace by guitarist John Anderson and drummer Garret Godard, and the first date, at London’s Lexington on September 21, will coincide with the release of Girls’ debut album, simply titled Album.

Oh, and Girls also have another single on the way. Titled ‘Lust for Life’, it will come out on September 7 via Fantasytrashcan/Turnstyle, and presumably isn’t an Iggy Pop cover. Presumably.
