Cocadisco returns to London’s Corsica Studios for a very special summer all-nighter on Friday 24 July, headlined by Dijon electro-disco deity Vitalic .
Vitalic shouldn’t need too much introduction: he’s creator of one of the most rollicking electro/techno tracks of all time in ‘La Rock 01’, not to mention the album OK Cowboy, which is basically a modern classic. It’s rare to find him playing venues as intimate this one, and what’s more he’ll be playing a special "selector set", in which you’ll doubtless here a few cuts from his imminent and reportedly amazing new LP.
DJing in support will be Mark Moore, formerly of chart-topping house outfit S’Express and described by Cocadisco as among the world’s very best high-energy DJs. Moore will be joined by Tom from The Horrors, whose DJ set at Cocadisco’s February bash went down a storm. He’ll be taking time out from being in the world’s most hyped band to spin his favourite synth jams for the Coca faithful. Bringing up the rear is Louis Enchante, plus other names still to be announced.
You can buy tickets at crowdsurge.com; we’ve also got a pair to give away for free, so if you fancy those simply e-mail your name and the word ‘cocadisco’ to competitions@vinylfactory.co.uk
Look out for an exclusive FACT mix from Cocadisco, coming to the site next week.
