The first acts have been announced for the reliably sun-splashed Reworks festival, which takes place in the city of Thessaloniki, Greece, on September 18-19.

Among those confirmed so far include tireless techno overlord Sven Vath, US deep house maestro Dennis Ferrer (pictured) and hip-hop oddball Daedalus.

Two of the best party DJs around, for very different reasons – Ed Banger’s DJ Mehdi and Get Physical’s Heidi – are also on the bill, joined by Martinez Brothers, NTEIBINT, Oliver Huntmann, BPitch Control’s Paul Kalkbrenner, Shlomi Aber and Argy. The full line-up as it stands is below; many more acts are yet to be announced.

If you book early for Reworks you can take advantage of a special early bird offer and bag a full two-day ticket for a mere 40 Euros. The regular price for the two-day ticket is 50 Euros, while single day tickets can be acquired for 29 Euros (Friday) and 35 Euros (Saturday)

Reworks is fast gaining a reputation as one of the world’s finest boutique festivals, and in 2009 it’s celebrating its fifth anniversary. This edition of the festival  will boast 7 different stages with over 100 DJs and live acts performing across them. Highlights from the past four years include DJ Hell, Future Sound of London, Joe Clausell, Michael Mayer, Aeroplane, Dixon, Prins Thomas and Booka Shade.
