Dave Huismans, the Amsterdam-based artist best known for his dubstep productions under the name 2562, is launching a new label dedicated to his work as A Made Up Sound.

The new white label series, which distributor Clone describes as Huismans’ "platform for non-trendy techno beatfreakery", is inaugurated next month with the release of ‘Rework’/’Closer’, two broken techno tracks in the classic AMUS style. You can listen to samples of both tracks both here

‘Rework’/’Closer’ is the fifth official A Made Up Sound release to date, following the recent Archive EP for Clone, a series of singles on labels like Philpot and Shed’s Soloaction, and last year’s self-released album Shortcuts.
