Now this is more like it. Sexbeat’s debut 7″ is helmed by LA duo Crocodiles, and collects two tracks from their perfectly fine full-length for Fat Possum, Summer of Hate.

A-Side ‘I Wanna Kill’ is bitesize 50s rock shot through the sort of grainy soft focus you’d expect from Ducktails, while B-Side ‘Here Comes the Sky’ is more on your shimmery ballad tip. Not as camp as recent nostalgia fests from Cold Cave and Silk Flowers, but just as enjoyable all the same.
