“Croydon’s finest”, as Annie Mac refers to him in the above audio, remixes Montreal electro duo Chromeo to superb effect: stranding the original’s sleaze-funk vocal on a dingy of Dam-Funk style squiggle and casting it out on the sort of electric sea of bass that Joker’s so keen on taking a dip in. Skream’s remix work has been on fire lately, not to mention incredibly varied, and this sees him expand his range while healthily pushing the boundaries of taste: Bollywood strings and a guitar solo both feature, but they completely suit the track’s mood.
