No matter where you spend New Year’s Eve 2009, we’d wager it won’t be somewhere with as good a pun-based name as the rave that the folk behind Get Loaded in the Park are putting on. It’s called Get Loaded in the Dark.

Confirmed so far for the night are DJ sets from Simian Mobile Disco, Chase and Status, Annie Mac, Herve and Sub Focus. Get Loaded in the Dark will take place over three arenas at the O2 Academy in Brixton, London. Early bird tickets are £25 plus booking fee, and it goes on from 8.30pm – 6am. Capacity is 4500, but we bet it’ll still be rammed – especially with many more acts to be announced.
