Andrew Weatherall is dropping by East Village in London to play a 3-hour “anything goes” set for Sweatshop on January 9.
It’s Sweatshop’s first party of 2010, following a 2009 which saw them host such illustrious guest jocks as The Revenge, Partial Arts (Ewan Pearson and Al Usher) and Lovefingers.
Weatherall will be pulling from the full breadth of his record collection – from cutting edge techno to greased-out rockabilly – to keep things grooving in the basement, and he’s supported down there by Cruisey Control. Mintvibe and Minkioni take care of the music in the upstairs bar.
Entry is £5 before 11pm and £6 after, and the night runs 9pm-4am.
