Strange Attractor is the acclaimed journal for connoisseurs of “unpopular culture” and the occult, and this month at Viktor Wynd Fine Art in Hackney, London, its publishers present the first ever Strange Attractor Salon.

The exhibition assembles a selection of painting, drawing, photography, sculpture, sound and video from Strange Attractor’s “contributors, friends, allies and inspirations”,

Of most interest to FACT readers will be new video work from Julian House (pictured above), who is co-founder of the Ghost Box label and records as The Focus Group, and Mount Vernon Arts Lab’s Drew Mulholland, whose classic album The Seance at Hobs Lane was re-issued by Ghost Box in 2008. These works will be on display on January 15, part of the Salon’s Luminous Pleasures strand.

We’ll let you sift yourself through the rest of the predictably bizarre programme, which is available to peruse here.
