More acts for Camp Bestival, the family friendly sister festival of the Isle of Wight’s Bestival, have been announced.

Curated – as ever – by Rob da Bank, the festival takes place from July 30 to August 1, at Lulworth Castle, Dorset. The list of live performers now includes Friendly Fires, Madness, Human League, Calvin Harris, Chipmunk, George Clinton and Parliament Funkadelic, the KLF’s Bill Drummond / The17, Marc Almond, Billy Bragg, The Blockheads, The Wurzuls, The Fall, Lee ‘Scratch’ Perry and Example. You’ll also get to see Brian Eno’s Apollo performed by Icebreaker featuring BJ Cole.

On the DJ side of things, you’ll be treated to sets by Joy Orbison, Cooly G, Joker, Greg Wilson, Annie Mac, Jack Beats, Mr Scruff, DJ Yoda, L-Vis 1990 and more.

“Enlightenment and cultural pursuits” meanwhile, come courtesy of The Hip-Hop Shakespeare Company, Operaupclose: La Boheme, Simon Raymonde, Videopia, Nigel Godrich and more.

For the full line-up check out the Camp Bestival homepage. We’d recommend you use the html view, as the regular version’s already crashed the FACT office twice with its leather-clad weasels or whatever it has running around it this year.
