The Green Man festival has added Beirut and Billy Bragg to its line-up for this year.

Beirut, real name Zach Condon, peddles South America-inspired folk that on occasion, such as 2007’s superb The Flying Cup Club, is sublime. Billy Bragg is an old punk poet who probably should know better at this point, but still found time out from fighting the man to record noughties albums with Wilco and The Blokes.

Also on the bill are Field Music, Alasdair Roberts, Cass McCombs, O.Children and the Flaming Lips. The Green Man takes place from August 20 – 22, tickets and more information available here.
