Toro Y Moi‘s excellent Causers Of This LP isn’t out until February 22, but thanks to The Fader, you can stream it in its entirety now.

A fixture on the FACT stereo since it arrived in our office shortly after Christmas, Causers Of This is the debut offering from Toro Y Moi, AKA South Carolina’s Chaz Bundick. He cites influences as diverse as Dilla, Sonic Youth, Animal Collective and Daft Punk, and it all comes across in the album’s freewheeling, cut ‘n paste sound – Bundick setting his sweet vocal harmonies against boogie-down basslines, pumping digital rhythms and oodles of distortion and delay.

It’s psychedelia, 2010-style, and there’s no doubt in our mind that Causers Of This will be one of the year’s cult sensations. Have a listen and see why.
