The Glade Festival will return this year with a headline performance from UK dance institutions Orbital.

After a five year hiatus from the live circuit, Orbital returned last year with a series of festival performances at Bestival, Sonar and more; 2010’s Glade should see them keep up that keen run of form.

Also on the bill is Bristol legend Tricky, who made two of the best albums of the 1990s (Maxinquaye and its sequel, Pre-Millenium Tension) and still remains one of the UK’s most fascinating musical legends.

Festival favourites Simian Mobile Disco are also on board, fresh from their second album Temporary Pleasure.

Glade 2010 will see the festival return to the new venue it debuted last year; all early bird tickets are already sold out. There are, however, a number of discount student tickets available over at the Glade homepage – if you are intending to go then we’d urge you to strike while the iron’s hot.

More names are, naturally, still to be announced.
