We’ve been raving about London’s Deep Teknologi crew for a little while now – if you check our Producers to Watch in 2010 piece from earlier in the year you can read an interview with the core pair behind the faction, and download a mix from them too.

In two Fridays’ time (that’s March 12 for those keeping score), Deep Teknologi will be hosting their club night, Logik, at East London’s Russian Bar, with sets from Cooly G, Scratcha DVA, Breach (Ben Westbeech), Wonder, Deep Tek themselves and more.

To promote the night, they’ve given us a free download from Don Morris, one of the many talented producers in their ranks. Titled ‘Up Close’, it’s a subtle house number with some space age melodies and the sort of measured groove that’s present on all the Deep Tek material. We’ve been playing this one loads in the FACT office over the last couple of months; we’d suggest you join the party.
