Rhythm & Sound‘s classic ‘No Partial’ production has been reissued on vinyl.

‘No Partial’ was originally released in 2001 by Honest Jon’s-afilliated PK Records, as a B-side to The Wailers Band’s ‘Higher Field Marshall’. I, and it also appealed on their self-titled album that was released the same year. It’s a definitive work from Rhythm & Sound, AKA Berlin duo Moritz von Oswald and Mark Ernestus, perfectly showcasing their post-techno, gorgeously serotonin-depleted dub sound.  If you’re unfamiliar with their work, this is as good a place to start as any.

The reissue finds ‘No Partial’ pressed on a one-sided, handsomely stamped 10″. You can find more information and order it here.

As previously reported, Rhythm & Sound’s Mark Ernestus has recently co-founded, with PK/Honest Jon’s Mark Ainley, a new reggae reissue imprint called Dug Out. The first two releases, by King Kong and Michael Rose, are available now.
