The next CD in Fabric’s Fabriclive series will be by Duke Dumont.

Or, er, The Duke Dumont, as he’s apparently now called. Dumont’s famed for his remixes – amongst them takes on the Mystery Jets and Late of the Pier – but only one of his productions appears on Fabriclive 51, said remix of Late of the Pier’s ‘Bathroom Gurgle’.

Dumont says of the mix: “I’m not trying to promote a genre with this mix; the ethos is simply to make something that I’ll still really love in a few years’ time.  It’s all good music.

“The mix is hypnotic, with structure and atmosphere. It represents what I play: groove-based, bordering on the techy side and all with a sense of emotion, which a venue like fabric allows me to express.”

It’ll be released April 12 in the UK, May 18 in the US, via Fabric.
