World Unknown has been picking up a reputation as one of London’s best new underground club nights, with a musical policy centered around synth wave, EBM, electro, new beat and acid.
The next edition takes place at a secret location in Brixton, South London on Friday 16 April, and will boast a live set from kosmische and deep techno standard-bearers – not to mention perennial FACT favourites – Subway.
Support comes courtesy of World Unknown resident DJs Andy Blake (Dissident) and Joe Hart.
It’s a simple enough premise, really, but one all too rarely found elsewhere: adventurous music culled from the past as well as the present, enjoyed in a proper basement party atmosphere. And boy does it work.
The night runs 11pm-5am; entry fee is £5 before midnight and £7 thereafter. More info, mixes and so on here.
