James Ruskin, the brains behind last Friday’s exemplary FACT mix, hosts the re-launch party for his Blueprint label at Cable in London this Saturday, 31 July.
Ruskin, one of British techno’s most consistently impressive operatives, headlines with a DJ set. Joining him will be Sandwell District – the duo of Function and Regis – doing one of their fancy-pants live/DJ sets, plus Raudive (Oliver Ho), Mark Broom and relative newcomer Valmay. Last but not least, Ruskin and Regis will team up for a live outing as O/V/R.
A heavy-duty techno spread if ever there was one; advance tickets are available for £10 here. The night, hosted by We Fear Silence, runs 11pm-6am; Cable can be found at 33a Bermondsey St Tunnel, London Bridge, SE1 3JW.
