On Wednesday 1 September American singer-songwriter Zola Jesus will be performing at Camp Basement in Shoreditch as part of her ‘conquer-or-bust’ UK tour.

Fresh from supporting Fever Ray on her 2010 tour the singer and multi-instrumentalist, real name Nika Roza Danilova, is riding high off the back of a series of well-received EPs on Sacred Bones Records, as well as a recent split EP with LA Vampires. Nika hails from Arizona and is also a member of experimental rock band Former Ghosts, although she has garnered most attention as a solo artist purveying her unique brand of goth psychedelia. The new and expanded version of her Stridulum album, aptly named Stridulum II, is also out this month.

Support on the night comes from The Haxan Cloak AKA 23 year old London-based musician Bobby Krilic.

Tickets are £6.50 and can be brought here.
