On February 2011, All Tomorrow’s Parties will collaborate with Japan’s Creativeman to present their first event in the land of the rising sun.

No line-up yet, but the event will be called I’ll Be Your Mirror, after the B-side to the Velvet Underground’s original All Tomorrow’s Parties 7” single. It will take place on Sunday February 27, at Studio Coast, Tokyo, and represents a worldwide sister event to ATP that will hop between cities, with the same concept of being curated by an individual artist each time.

In ATP promoter Barry Hogan’s words, “we feel really excited that we are finally coming to Tokyo to present some of our favourite Japanese and International artists. It’s been something we’ve wanted to do for many years and this first edition of I’ll Be Your Mirror will be a sample of future projects we plan to bring to Japan.”

After Japan, the next I’ll Be Your Mirror will take place in the UK.
