The Outlook festival returns for 2011 with a monumental line-up focussed on dubstep, house, reggae, garage, jungle, hip-hop and literally everything in between.

Where to begin? Is there anyone not playing this celebration of “bass and soundsystem culture”? Warp’s Hudson Mohawke and Rustie make appearances, Hyperdub reps with Kode9 & Spaceape, Cooly G, Scratcha DVA, and Ikonika, Digital Mystikz‘ Mala and Coki are both on hand, joining Croydon dubstep originals Skream, Hatcha, Benga and Loefah. More sultry 4/4 sounds come from MJ Cole, Roska and Space Dimension Controller, with Addison Groove, Ramadanman, Ben UFO, Pangaea, Benji B, R1 Ryders , Night Slugs’ Bok Bok & L-Vis 1990, Lone, UK funky barnstormers Lil Silva and Marcus Nasty, Bristol’s soundsystem murderers RSD, Dubkasm and Pinch, bashment standard-bearers The Heatwave, Doc Daneeka, FaltyDL, Zed BIas, Instra:mental, dBridge, Martyn (pictured), Mosca and…well, just take a look at the full line-up on Outlook’s official site.

The festival takes place on September 1-4 in an abandoned 19th century fort in Pula, in the picturesque region of Istria, Croatia. More information and tickets here, and check out highlights from last year’s edition (including 2011 line-up announcements) in the video below.
