Omar-S and Newworldaquarium are to headline the next instalment of London techno/house party Bleep43.
Omar-S has graced ’43 with his presence before, around the time he released the Fabric mix CD that launched him overground. When he’s on form, Omar – real name Alex Smith – is a DJ without parallel, pushing a raw, stripped-down house sound charged with Motor City soul.
Also making a welcome return to London is Newworldaquarium, the moody, disco-tinged house project of Amsterdam’s Jochem Peteri. Performing live are guests passEnger & xluve and Ken Odeluga; London’s Max Duley and Bleep43 residents Toby Frith and Dan Bean complete the DJ line-up.
The night takes place on Friday 25 February at Corsica Studios, and advance tickets are available now, priced £12.
