A spin-off from, and warm-up for, the ever-popular Lovebox festival, Bang The Box has been in existence at various venues since 2002, and has made a welcome return for 2011.

The first party of the new season took place last week, with Ed Banger at the controls. For the next bash, Night Slugs take over the main room of London’s XOYO on Saturday March 5.

Sets come from Egyptrixx – who’ll be playing live, with his debut album Bible Eyes due out that month – Jam City, Lil Silva and label owners Bok Bok & L-Vis 1990. The showcase is presented by Bang the Box; in the second room you’ll find Lovebox DJs, FACT DJs and Hot Blood.
