Süd Electronic returns on April 2 with an unmissable London party headlined by Sound Stream.

Regular FACT readers will be familiar with Sound Stream, an alias of Frank Timm AKA Soundhack. It’s an outlet for Timm to cut and mould vintage disco samples into loop-based, larger-than-life productions that have all the precision, heft and impact of contemporary techno. No one on earth – apart from his friends and collaborators Erik and Fiedel – can whip up dancefloors up into a froth with such artfulness and sense of fun. Crucially, this is a Sound Stream live performance, meaning you’ll be treated to a set composed entirely of Timm originals and edits. We’re already salivating, as is no doubt obvious.

Also performing live is Portable (AKA Bodycode), a longtime member of the Süd family and producer of acclaimed, moody house music on such labels as Perlon, Context and the club’s own imprint. DJ duties are handled by Sud resident Lakuti, Kiss Me Again’s Joe Delon and Panorama Bar’s Tama Sumo.

There are no advance tickets for the party, which will take place at a licensed venue on Stoke Newington Rd, Dalston (full details to be announced nearer the time), but there is a £10 list available only to members of Süd’s mailing list – which you can join by emailing info@sudelectronic.com before 5pm on April 1, and it will be £13 on the door.
