A1 Bassline made a name for himself a few years back on the strength of his massive fringe, and his generally quite good niche-inspired club music.

His new single, for new label Tighten Up (who just released Kavsrave’s excellent The Break Up EP) is a bit more serious: it’s dark, drum machine-driven house in the Swamp81 vein that everyone seems to be injecting themselves into right now, and we really like it. It’s a bit naff how the B-side, ‘1.47’ features a guy saying “house!” all the time, but you can’t have it all. Check the track below, complete with video of kids graffing trains. As they do.
