Plastikman is among the latest acts announced for the 2011 MUTEK festival in Montreal.

Richie Hawtin will adopt his much-loved Plastikman guise for a special audi0-visual live set in the country he was raised. He’s just one of several new additions to the MUTEK line-up: Murcof will present a collaboration with French video collective ANTIVJ, and Pole will take part in a showcase highlight the connections between Berlin, Montreal and Buenos Aires with Deadbeat/Lillevan, Sol Del Rio, Chancha Via Circuito. Badawi, ARP, Purform and have also now been confirmed, along with up-and-coming Canadian talent in the shape of Arthur Oskan, Billy Dalessandro, Groj, Komodo, Max Ulis, Monolithium, Organ Mood, Sinteg, Skinnybones, The Gulf Stream, Tomas Jirku, Women With Kitchen Applicances and XI.

These artists join the previously announced likes of Modeselektor, Four Tet, James Holden, Horror Inc (Akufen), Amon Tobin and Traversable Wormhole. MUTEK takes place on June 1-5; more information and tickets here.
