Six Organs Of Admittance will play a rare London show at Cecil Sharp House on Saturday 4 June.
Guitarist Ben Chasny founded the Six Organs project in 1998 to explore his interest in droning, psychedelic folk styles, from the sparse and ascetic to the lushly orchestrated. Inspired by the likes of John Fahey and Robbie Basho, not to mention Indian raga and classical minimalism, he has released over a dozen albums on labels such as Drag City and Holy Mountain; the latest is entitled Asleep On The Floodplain.
For this gig, put on by Miles of Smiles and EFDSS, he’s supported by Songs Of Green Pheasant and Two Wings. For more information and tickets, click here.
