UK folk-pop songbird Laura Marling will release a new album on September 12.

It’s called A Creature I Don’t Know, and is the follow-up to 2010’s I Speak Because I Can. Like it’s predecessor, the new record was produced by Ethan Johns,  and will be released through EMI. Below is one of those irksome promo videos that are all the rage these days, in which you can hear some music from the LP.

The album can be pre-ordered in regular and special editions here, though there’s no indication at present as to what ‘special’ entails.
