Drag City are planning to release a single-sided 12″ vinyl pressing of Joanna Newsom’s ‘What We Have Known’.

The track was originally issued as the second track on Newsom’s 2004 CD single ‘Sprout And The Bean’, and has been a fan favourite ever since. This new 12″ is, according to Drag City, the first and last time the track will appear on wax. Limited to 700 copies in the UK and Ireland, it’s etched on one side and housed in “a Civil War styled jacked” (see below) designed by Becca Mann, who worked on the cover of Newsom’s recent Have One On Me album. It’s officially released on July 19 and is available to pre-order now.
