Red Bull Music Academy will throw another Major Lazer-headlined party this year for the Notting Hill Carnival.

Such was the success of last year’s Carnival bash, which featured Lee “Scratch” Perry, M.I.A. and more, RBMA have invited Major Lazer back to headline 2011’s event. And also like last year, the rest of the bill takes the form of a Major Lazer-curated “soundsystem” – 2011’s edition features Moombahton champ Dillon Francis playing back-to-back with Brodinski, Oneman back-to-back Jackmaster (featuring Jessie Ware), Lunice, Kito, Black Chiney and some “very secret, very special guests.”

Sets will be available to stream after the event via RBMA radio, but as you know, there’s nothing like being there. Tickets are free, but limited and on a strictly first come, first served basis. Check redbull.co.uk/carnival at 10am on August 11 to try your luck; tickets won’t be around for long.
