This summer Carl Cox is celebrating the 10th anniversary of The Carl Cox Revolution at Space Ibiza.

The British techno stalwart is joined across the club’s four rooms by a stellar cast of DJs for the season of Tuesdays, which runs from today (July 5) through until September 20. Among the guests are Richie Hawtin, Laurent Garnier presents L.B.S., Kevin Saunderson, DJ Sneak, Darren Emerson, Magda, Gilles Peterson, Moby, Fatboy Slim, Josh Wink and Loco Dice. The full line-up is below.

The music on offer isn’t just techno, with drum ‘n bass coming from LTJ Bukem and Roni Size. “For me, it’s not about trends or my own personal tastes,” continues Cox. “When my guests are having a great time and radiating positive energy, then it doesn’t matter whether the DJ is playing drum & bass or minimal. If the music makes people party – perfect!”

Can’t really argue with that. Backed up by fellow residents UMEK, Yousef and Nic Fanciulli, Cox will plat a 10-hour set at tonight’s opening party, in tribute to the last decade – one hour for every year. “I want to play everything that has made our Tuesday night what it is,” says Carl. “And when I drop a classic tune I know it’ll bring a lump to my throat. An old tune can take you right back to that moment, so this summer will be emotional, for sure.”
