It’s difficult to see how Zomby’s Dedication, released last week by 4AD, isn’t going to rank among the year’s best albums.

Essentially his first ‘proper’ full-length – if you discount the hardcore tribute Where Were U In ’92, and the Zomby and One Foot Ahead Of The Other EPs – it finds the irascible producer at the top of his game, creating an immersive ecosystem of digital flora and fauna as only he can.
