The Vinyl Factory is opening a new gallery space in Chelsea, London. It launches on September 15 in collaboration with ‘Daydreaming with…’ to present the first solo show by acclaimed photographers Warren Du Preez and Nick Thornton Jones, When The Night Falls.
Prolific collaborators, the pair have previously worked with Bjork, Massive Attack, Alexander McQueen and others, and their work has been shown at Haunch of Venison, ICA, Colette Paris and the National Portrait Gallery.
Most recently Du Preez and Thornton Jones created the artwork for UNKLE‘s album When Did The Night Fall, which forms the genesis for When The Night Falls, their first solo show, which features a series of new visual works.
There will also be a special Vinyl Factory edition of When Did The Night Fall, limited to 100 hand-signed copies, consisting of 6 screen-printed sleeves (pictured above) , each housing 2 metallic vinyl records containing exclusive UNKLE tracks. More info and pre-orders soon at vfeditions.com.
