Sorry, but there’s a time for detailed analysis and there’s a time to tell it like it is. ‘Neon’, from Dark Sky’s new Radius EP sounds like it was made in 1999 and brushed with gold paint, has a drop that stands toe to toe with almost any garage classic, and smacks whatever overcomplicated hybrid house thing you listened to on your way to work this morning (including everything Dark Sky did before this track) out the park. Props where they’re due – this track is marvellous. I would talk about the rest of the EP, but as The Rock and Wyclef Jean might say, it doesn’t matter.
