You couldn’t make it up. Or rather you could, quite easily, but why would you want to? Metallica and Lou Reed have teamed up for a collaborative album entitled Lulu.

Pitchfork have revealed the cover art (as above) and release info for Lulu, but no reports yet on how it actually sounds. It’s due for release on October 31 via Universal Music, and around that time Lou and the band will perform live on Later… With Jools Holland. Bet you can’t wait for that.
