The peak-time trance vortex of ‘Primary Colours’ was, in some ways, the climax of LV & Joshua Idehen’s Routes album.

Unfortunately (though its length was undoubtedly part of the original’s appeal), it was less than two minutes long. Luckily, LV were persuaded to create an extended version for the B-side to new single ‘Northern Line’, which adds classic hip-hop samples, some heavy filtering and a rolling Reese bassline.
