Next month, underground synth deity Oneohtrix Point Never will release a new album, Replica.
The follow-up to 2010’s superb Returnal, it sees Oneohtrix stray from the drifting Juno epics that he’s known for – there’s more noticeable sampling on this album, and its title track is a poignant piano piece – but it finds him as affecting and absorbing, not to mention as refreshingly difficult (you can take the boy out the noise scene…) as he ever has been.
We’ve got one vinyl copy and one cassette copy of Replica to give away; drop us a line at competitions@thevinylfactory.com with the subject line ‘Replica’, and you’ll be entered into the draw to win.
