In 2001, Austrian composer Fennesz released the classic Endless Summer.

In 2011, new No Pain in Pop (Forest Swords, Patten) signing Doldrums has released a video for a track called ‘Endless Winter’. We’ve got no idea if it’s supposed to be a tribute to Fennesz, but the two share a similarly wilted, static-heavy approach to melody, so we’d like to think there’s something there.
