Nneka – or at least the team behind her – clearly have a way with remixes: the Nigerian soul singer was recently re-rubbed by Digital Mystikz’ Coki, while she hit the charts in 2009 with a Chase and Status version of her single ‘Heartbeat’. Now ‘Shining Star’, a cut from her forthcoming album Soul is Heavy, has been given some typically longing house treatment by Joe Goddard (Hot Chip / 2 Bears).

Soul is Heavy will be released through Decon Records on March 19.
