Following an impressive run of singles over the last two years, funky producer T.Williams has another EP on the way.

‘Malfunction’ is the first taster from the forthcoming Can We EP. As with his breakthrough hit ‘Heartbeat’, the track features vocal assistance from Terri Walker.

As its title suggests, ‘Malfunction’ is a glitchy affair, full of digital sturm und drang. T. Williams foreground the rhythmic ingenuity of Funky, but leaves the warm vibes at the door. Walker – fluttery and serene on ‘Heartbeat’ – plays the siren, luring the listener to safety through the clatter. All in all, it’s a brilliantly prickly number.
