After the absurdly ostentatious video for ‘Born To Die’, Lana Del Rey has unveiled a video that sees her going back to basics.

The ‘Carmen’ clip sees Del Rey returning to the collaging board. As with that iconic ‘Video Games’ video, ‘Carmen’ intersperses library footage with shots of Del Rey posturing and pouting. Images include timelapsed cityscapes, galloping horses and a white-clad sylph dashing through a misty field. If heavy-handed symbolism doesn’t do it for you, look away now.
