Ali Wells is coming out swinging with another set of pugilistic techno.

Under the Perc moniker, Wells has offered up some of the most horrifying dance music of the last few years. 2011’s Wicker And Steel LP was a strangled cri de coeur, a grim procession of industrial blasts and whipcrack drum programming. Wells’ pet Perc Trax label has been similarly unrelenting, turning out forceful releases by the likes of Forward Strategy Group and Ben Gibson

The Quietus report that Wells has a new EP on the way. A New Brutality will emerge on Perc Trax. The title is reportedly bang on, with Wells allegedly exploring more abrasive territory than on previous releases. A New Brutality is due on June 29, just in time for those August barbeque parties.
