A round-up of new videos released today.

Parisian sisters CocoRosie [above] have dropped the Emma Freeman-directed video for their new single ‘We Are On Fire’. That’s released this coming Monday (June 11) on Touch and Go, backed with the quieter, Antony Hegarty-featuring ‘Tearz for Animals’. It’s the first new music from the sisters since 2010’s oft-overlooked Grey Oceans album.

Dirty Projectors’ latest’, ‘Gun has no Trigger’, also has a video. Directed by the band’s own Dave Longstreth, it is – in Longstreth’s own words – “about the possibility for true dissent, and how I can’t figure out what that could be. What is a 2012 Exodus from the Society of the Spectacle (to mix language Situationist and Rastafari)? So we made a video from the iconography of the default profile image used by Facebook and Gmail, and also the look of the classic Apple iPod commercials. The colors in the background are the ones I think of when I hear the harmonies of Amber and Haley (via experimental synesthesia). Enjoy!!” That one’s out soon on an 8″ square vinyl single through Domino. Really.

And finally, Beach House have released the Allen Cordell video for ‘Lazuli’, from new album Bloom:
