East London’s 1234 festival has announced its dance stage.
Headlined by recent FACT mixer and British techno institution Claro Intelecto, the stage is dominated by acts from the UK’s shores – Linkwood, Young Montana?, Gerry Read, Patten, Lapalux, Regal Safari – but there is room for New Yorker FaltyDL, who’s been behind some of the most celebrated garage music of recent years. The stage has been booked in association with Streets of Beige, who this weekend were one of the parties behind that last minute Hyperdub party.
Elsewhere on the festival’s line-up: Visions of Trees, S.C.U.M., Mark Stewart, Iceage, Savages and more. It all takes place on September 1, in Shoreditch Park; for more information, click here.
