Four Tet has remixed ‘Look At Where We Are’, from Hot Chip’s latest album.

A laid-back, forlorn track with click-clack percussion zig-zagging steadily forward, it’s eventually dominated by some of the saddest synths you’ll hear this… week? Who knows? It all moves so fast these days – though not as fast as this remix, which gets through an entire podcast’s worth of moods and drum patterns in seven minutes while still sounding restrained. We love the little reversed sample before it properly kicks into gear, too. Guy is seriously on form.
