Nightwave, one of London’s most reliable dance producers of recent years, has remixed Twista & Pharrell’s ‘Give It Up’.

The end results aren’t a million miles away from Addison Groove’s Spank Rock-sampling ‘Real Bad Things’, a simple mechanical series of snares giving way to huge, dominating electro bass and steaming factory hi-hats. It’s not Nightwave’s first venture into remixing hip-hop and r’n’b – in 2010, she released an industrial-leaning cover of Cassie’s ‘Me N U’, and has also edited Ginuwine’s ‘Pony’.
