Following the well-received ‘Shake It Off’ 12″, up-and-coming producer Pusherman returns with a new EP, Donuts.

Anyone expecting something similar to J Dilla’s Donuts is in for a disappointment: there’s little smoothness on show here. ‘Donuts’ lurches forward on angular, war-time percussion, while stand-out ‘The People’ rolls out speedy percussion in the same vein as Lakosa & IO or South London Ordnance.
