Heatsick will release a new EP, Convergence, on September 3.
The four-track 12″ comes courtesy of Amsterdam dance stable Rush Hour, whose interest in the Berlin-based artist’s warped, Casio-driven disco-house experiments has obviously been piqued by his previous releases on PAN and CockTail d’Amore Music.
The record comes in a sleeve design by Jean-Michel Wicker, with the following text on the front: “I know some people think I spend my time just swimming around running the parks or dancing in clubs. That’s fine. But I don’t actually. I work most of the time.”
You can listen to one of the EP’s title track in this mix Heatsick – real name Steven Warwick – recently made for Tiny Mixtapes.
